VISUAL

I have been looking at the idea of giving an advantage to the partially sighted and a disadvantage to visually abled when viewing my work. There are three aspects to my work; the lines, the shadows and the braille. With the lines, it's a representation of how much information my subjects gave me about a strong or beautiful memory and is also making a little strenuous for a visually abled person to view. The shadows symbolise their memories as a fragment in time and how a shadow will only be there for a moment, also focusing on the little to no detail which relates to how partially sighted people can see. Which leads to my final point in the work. The braille, which is their memories and the reason I decided to put it in braille is to again to give a disadvantage to the ale sighted and an advantage to the visually impaired.
